Carson’s Corner: TUF Alumnus Jason Dent and Chris Lozano discuss their upcoming fight

NAAFS champion middleweight Chris Lozano and NAAFS champion lightweight Jason Dent are going to fight each other. Lozano recently delivered a slap to the face of Jason Dent. This slap is what set it all off. Two fighters, two rival fight teams, one fight to settle it.

The two fighters recently joined Carson’s Corner host Bob Carson via conference call to talk about the upcoming fight, which takes place on June 5, 2010, in Cleveland, Ohio. The event is titled, “Fight Nite in the Flats VI,” and features professional and amateur MMA. Check out http://www.naafs.tv for more information. Jason, Chris and Bob talk about the midwest fight scene, fighters to look out for, their upcoming fight and more. Dent is a multi-time UFC fighter and Lozano is widely recognized as one of the top MMA prospects on the fight scene. This should be a very high-level professional fight.

After the interview, Bob hits upon a few news items, including mention of Strikeforce in St. Louis, SHINE fights, Dan Quinn and the exhumation of the late Edwin Valero. To listen to this program, click here: http://www.carsonscorner.podomatic.com

If that is indeed true, that Lozano slapped Jason Dent-can’t wait till Dynamite takes care of Lozano’s face!!!!

  2. 2. Rusty Shackelford Said:

hahahaha. Dent will get smacked again but this time in front of thousands of poeple. I cant wait to see that smack talkin clown get his.

  3. 3. Lebron Said:

Jason Dent is riding high on his “celebrity status”. Doesn’t matter what the caption says under your name on the poster, what matters is what happens once the ref says fight. Jason Dent got tv time that blew his head up but did nothing with it. Lozano is gonna capitalize on the opportunity and put a 1 in Jason’s times KO’d stat and another digit in his L catagory. When this fight is over people will be saying “I’d like to see Chris Lozano fight Ross Pearson or Roger Huerta.”

  4. 4. Cavs & Naafs fan Said:

I heard LBJ was a naafs fan for real. Maybe he has time to come to see his boy fight in person. Last chance to see the king before he moves to Chicago?

  5. 5. Lebron Said:

It’s me homie. I’d like to come down to the fights but can’t chance it in the flats. Too many dogs hatin’ on me down there. Good Luck Chris Lozano.

  6. 6. Diggs Said:

If it is really you, then you need to get a hold of NAAFS management. I’m sure we can provide you with more than enough security. Shoot an email to greg@naafs.tv and we will accommodate your needs.

  7. 7. BJJ Jay Said:

yah its lebron posting under his real name lmfao. gimme a break. not saying hes not a fan but hes not posting anywhere but under his own name. get real people

  8. 8. Diggs Said:

I post under my name … sort of

  9. 9. phillTheThrill Said:

Lazano smacked Dent?!?! That’s fucking funny!! I’m not much of a Lazano fan because I think he’s too damn arrrogant and cocky but, I think slapping a UFC veteran takes big nuts! Too many guys are scared to gain a bad rep, and lazano is the complete opposite. Dude doesn’t care about much, does he? lol

i just might be becoming an Assassin fan after all.

  10. 10. Postman Said:

Dent did deserve getting slapped. Ive been following the naafs too for a while and Dent seems to always rub people the wrong way even in the ufc. Im a fan of both fighters but Dent needs to man up and take his beating in this one.

  11. 11. Willy Booger Said:

Dent is going to be sniffin’ the salts. Can’t wait to see it.
