MMAmadhouse.com was very pleased to be granted this interview with Marissa Caldwell, this is how it went down!
MadHouse- How is training coming along and how much are you looking forward to your fight with Jessica Eye on September 18th?
Marissa- Training is great… my team kicks my butt on a daily basis. I love that I have so many talented, but more importantly hard working fighters around me. I love that I go through so much hard training that the fights always seem like the easy part.
I’m pumped for the 18th! It’s the second time I’ll be going into a town to fight their “poster girl.” Also it’ll be the second time I get to hand an undefeated girl her first heart breaking loss.
MadHouse- NAAFS “Eve of Destruction” Sept. 18th is an all female MMA event, how do you feel about being the Main Event on a card that is sure to get a great amount of coverage across North America and beyond?
Marissa- It’s really just another fight for me. I do my best to stay focused on whats most important. I’m going to go in and do work, if that catches National attention awesome but even if it doesn’t I still come out knowing I gave my all and have no regrets.
MadHouse- What do you know about Jessica Eye and how do you see the fight going down?
Marissa- Jessica seems to have done well for herself in her area, but I don’t think she’s ever really been tested yet. I’ll be happy to do that for her. From what I’ve seen of her previous fights, September 18th will be a very bad night for her. I plan on dominating every aspect of this fight.
