Six Questions with Stipe Miocic
Six Questions with Stipe Miocic
NAAFS.tv recently caught up with Pro Series Heavyweight fighter Stipe Miocic for our exclusive Six Questions Interview series:
1. What is like to be competing in front of your hometown fans again?
Awesome! It’s so fun fighting in front of the home crowd because I know exactly where everything is ha ha! Seriously it’s great because my family, friends, and fans can come and don’t have to travel far.
2. Why did you decide to become an MMA fighter?
I never thought I was going to fight. I was just helping Dan “The Bull” Bobish out for one of his fights and just never left the gym. At first I didn’t like the fact that I would be getting hit in the face, but after awhile it rubbed off on me ha ha.
3. What is something that most fans may not know about Stipe Miocic?
I’m a firefighter/paramedic for the Village of Oakwood and I also love playing video games. Maybe a little too much!
4. What do you know about Jeremy Holm, your opponent on August 28th at the 4th Annual Rock N Rumble?
He is Undefeated, stands about 6’5, weighs about 255 lbs, and has some tattoos.
5. What are your thoughts on more and more heavyweight professional wrestlers switching over to MMA?
That’s cool whatever they want to do, I’m not their daddy. I hope they all do well.
6. Besides your Strong Style teammates, who is your favorite fighter to watch and why?
Well there is this one guy named Cro Cop, because he’s Croatian and an animal. Hopefully he gets back to his old ways.
Stipe Miocic (7-0) will be taking on “The Pain Train” Jeremy Holm as part of the 4th Annual Rock N Rumble on Saturday August 28th at the Nautica Pavilion in Cleveland, OH. Tickets are on sale now by calling 330-280-8442 or by clicking here.
