FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jazz Securo joins NAAFS Broadcast Team

10/25/10 Akron, OH: The NAAFS is pleased to announce that world renowned ring announcer, publicist and voice over artist Jazz Securo will now serve as the organizations regular ring announcer. Securo has announced prominent sporting events across the country including Las Vegas and Florida and has caught the attention of many of the industry’s most prominent figures including the UFC’s Dana White.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have an entertainer of Mr. Securo’s caliber on board with the NAAFS. As the NAAFS continues to expand nationally, Jazz is the perfect complement to what we feel is already a great production team.” said NAAFS spokesman Steve Hindman.

Securo will also be involved with the promotional side of the company, according to the NAAFS, and will make his ring announcing debut on November 20th in Akron, Ohio.

The NAAFS has also confirmed that John Strmac will now be a regular part of the commentary team bringing his insight as a fighter to the NAAFS broadcast booth.

“John is a valuable part of the team as he’s a jack of all trades when the lights come on and can really do it all. He did a phenomenal job for us as ring announcer while we transitioned into the next phase of our broadcasts. Fight fans can expect many improvements in the coming months.” stated NAAFS’ Greg Kalikas.

What happened to Jake? Who wants to know about Jake when you scored a talent like this guy. Jake was ok but not on this level. Checked out the guys website looks like hes big. Cant wait til he announces me.

WE WANT DIGGS!! WE WANT DIGGS!!

You may want what you are comfortable with, but if you want to raise it up to the next level you have to have the tools to do it. This guy will definitely deliver for the fighters and the show that powerful energy that the crowd feeds off of. You will see. I’ve seen him live. Be glad he’s coming to your team and not that of your opponent’s.

Jazz is very talented and will provide a great deal of excitement to NAAFS shows. I do find it interesting however that if we did agree to “mutually” walk away, then why was my account deleted from the NAAFS message board? I’ve never said anything bad about the NAAFS and yet I’ve been erased? It seems to me like someone wants everyone to forget about me, which is wrong. After 5 years of loyal service and working my ass off to establish the brand, I deserve more respect than that. You know as well as I do that the announcing wasn’t my passion, I just happened to be good at it. I’ve had NOTHING to do with the rants on this message board, but I am flattered that some of the fans are standing up on my behalf.

It was a pleasure to work with so many great people. I have to say the Nichole Long might by one of the most unappreciated people in this area. I love you Darling Nikki and understand you only did what you had to do. Much love to Tony, Jon Jon, Hex, Jesse, Bethany, Jameson, Lenny, Dustin, Big Hash, Mike & Jen, Wally, Troy, April, Hanna, Johanna, Kim, Lindsay, Elise, Dean Marini, Jeff Hare, Bob, Roger, and last but not least the unsung hero of the NAAFS Mike Moran.

I humbly bid you all farewell. I’m going to leave you with a quote from someone I once admired, respected, and can’t help but wonder what the hell ever happened to him:

    “Support the sport!”

    Much love,
    Diggs

Oh and much love to Steve Hindman and John Strmac!

For somebody who keeps saying they are moving on, you seem to not want to do that. You were deleted from the forums because you were at one time a mod. You are no longer a moderator on this forum. This particular thread is supposed to be a welcome for Jazz but you seem to want to make it about you. We know…..Your a victim and never did anything wrong to anyone ever….we get it. Im an a-hole dictator thats looking to take over the world….we get that too. As for the rant…..errr rants on the messageboard, ive openly addressed that too and am happy to answer anyones calls on the matter. As far as your former admiration and respect…..please. I wasnt born yesterday my friend. Save that stuff for someone else. Again, best of luck to you in the future.

There aren’t any fans on this thread ranting or “standing up for Diggs behalf”. It seems that the general consensus is that Jazz is a considerable upgrade. Judging by what I’ve seen, that seems to be an understatement. No offense. The only fan I see standing up for “Diggs” is the one named “yomamma”. I’d say odds are that is Diggs himself. Sometimes thinking you’re “good at it” just ain’t enough.
