Kulbis vs Rothacker added to Night of Champions Pro Card
11/18/10 (Canton, OH): The NAAFS is pleased to officially announce the addition of Doug Kulbis (8-1) vs Kevin Rothacker (5-2) to the Night of Champions featured pro card.
Kulbis is the 2009 NAAFS national amateur featherweight champion after posting a perfect 7-0 record as an amateur. A prominent member of Evolve MMA in Medina, Kulbis suffered his first career loss during his pro debut back in March of this year when Brandon Hance submitted Kulbis via first round armbar. Kulbis bounced back with an impressive submission victory over Brandon Inskeep in August and looks to make it two in a row against a tough Rothacker come December 4th.
Kevin Rothacker is a two time national amateur finalist from the well respected Strong Style Fight Team based in Independence, Ohio. December 4th will mark the professional debut for Rothacker who hasn’t competed since last years Night of Champions event.
Fans can expect fireworks in this one as two of the leagues premier young prospects lock horns in a budding rivalry between two of the regions best fight camps. Will Rothacker win in his pro debut and announce his arrival? Or will Kulbis make it two in a row and a earn a crack at one of the divisions current contenders?
