Josh Watson faces "Big" John Hawk at Caged Fury 14

1/27/11 (North Canton, OH): Due to lingering injury issues with original opponent Brandon Anderson, the NAAFS was forced to make a change and bring in Josh Watson (6-2 pro) from Las Vegas to face former NAAFS HW champ John Hawk at Caged Fury 14.

Watsons last loss came during a King of the Cage main event bout where he lost by second round submission when he moved up a weight class to face top HW prospect Nick Gaston AKA Afrozilla from MTV’s Bully Beatdown. Originally from Maine, Watson made the move to Las Vegas to focus on his MMA career. Now a part of Team Throwdown, Watson will try to add himself to an already deep LWH division in the NAAFS with a victory over a name fighter like Hawk. Win or lose, Watson will have at least one more fight in the NAAFS under his new contract with the league in 2011. Anderson is also expected to make his NAAFS debut for the NAAFS at 205 lbs later in the year.
