Fresh off of a dominant performance at Bellator 51 in September, NAAFS Pro Series Light Heavyweight Champion Dan “Dragon” Spohn (6-0 Professional Record, 1-0 Bellator) has announced that he has signed a long-term contract to fight for Bellator Fighting Championships. Spohn will be stepping back into the Bellator cage this Saturday, October 29th at Bellator 56 in Kansas City, Kansas.
The first fight of Spohn’s multi-fight deal will be against Kelvin Tiller (1-0 Professional Record, 0-0 Bellator) in a Light Heavyweight bout, which is slated to stream live on the web at Spike.com. It is believed that Spohn will be in the running for a berth in the next Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament for a shot at a $100,000 prize and a chance to challenge Christian M’Pumbu for the Bellator Light Heavyweight Title.
The NAAFS would like to congratulate Dan for signing with Bellator Fighting Championships, and wish him the best of luck in his quest for the Bellator Title.
